The use of GenAI when writing exams and tests for credit is usually completely prohibited, unless the teacher has specified clear exceptions. During the first class of a given course, the teacher specifies precisely how the learning outcomes will be verified, and in the verification of which outcomes the student is allowed to use GenAI tools, along with the scope of permissible use (full freedom of use, partial use) and the learning outcomes covered by a complete ban on using GenAI tools. If GenAI is allowed to be used within a specific scope, the student must clearly indicate how the tool was used and provide additional information required by the teacher.
