Due to the rapid development of GenAI tools, the University does not recommend any of the available tools in particular. However, it does recommend following new developments and learning how to use those tools effectively. The most popular tools that can support you in your studies include: writing and content creation tools (e.g. Grammarly, QuillBot), general-purpose platforms supporting learning and tutoring (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot), tools supporting literature research (e.g. Elicit, ResearchRabbit, Scholarcy), tools for learning foreign languages (e.g. DeepL), tools for detecting plagiarism (e.g. Turnitin, Copyleaks) or tools supporting presentations (e.g. Canva with AI, DALL-E). Remember that you should treat AI only as an assistant that can help you in your studies, and the full responsibility for the learning process and its results lies with you as a student. The University encourages all students to use free tools, tutorials and datasets which allow them to learn how to use GenAI tools effectively and responsibly in their studies and work. For example, MOOC platforms such as Coursera, edX, Udacity offer many valuable courses in that area.
