Artificial intelligence tools should not be indicated as the author/co-author of any content in the diploma thesis, nor should text generated by any content generator be used as a quote. Intellectual property can only be attributed to works created by humans. Any use of artificial intelligence tools must be agreed with the thesis supervisor, described in the methodological part and confirmed by a statement on the use of artificial intelligence, attached to the diploma thesis.

Remember that the full responsibility for the text of the diploma thesis, the truthfulness of the data, the credibility of the cited sources, the reality of the claims lies with the author of the thesis, and if plagiarism is detected in the content of the thesis, the author is responsible for that content. Citing (referring to) an artificial intelligence tool will not be treated as indicating a source of information, because artificial intelligence tools are not sources of information.

The methods of referring to AI-based tools in a diploma thesis are described in detail in section “V. Literature (referencing and quoting)” of Attachment 2 / H to the Regulation of UITM Rector on diploma theses and diploma examinations.
